BlackArts Racing Aiming to Extend Chinese F4 Championship Lead in Chengdu

Fresh off the back of a successful debut in the FIA Asian Formula 3 Championship, the BlackArts Racing team are already preparing for Round 3 of the FIA Chinese F4 Championship at the Chengdu Goldenport Circuit on 20-22 July 2018.

Drivers Daim Hishammudin and Oscar Lee will be looking to build on their previous performances. Monster Energy-backed Daim currently holds the advantage in the Championship, with 3 wins to his name, while Taiwanese-American Oscar will be looking to develop his experience and aim for the podium after his promising Top 4 debut in Zhuhai at the previous event.

Daim comments “I am very much looking forward to getting back in the Chinese F4 car. I have been preparing hard for this event and can’t wait to get down to the business. The aim is to extend our championship lead.”

Oscar went on: “I have been greatly encouraged by our performance at the last round in Zhuhai, so come here willing to learn and develop further, and if we can be in the mix at the front end of the grid come the weekend, I will be very happy!”

Dan Wells, Driver Coach for the BlackArts Racing team explained: “It has been a very busy couple of weeks, not least for our mechanics who are working tirelessly to prepare our cars in the best possible manner. We look forward to continuing our good form in the series and develop our young drivers.”

Official practice will get underway on Friday, with qualifying on Saturday morning followed by race one in the afternoon, with races two and three on Sunday.
