BlackArts Racing continue strong momentum for 2016 AFR Series

Following up on a successful first year, in which BlackArts Racing drivers won every AFR race, the team has begun testing and preparation for the 2016 season. With BlackArts Racing Academy coaches, Danny Watts (LeMans ad F3 champ), Richard Bradley (2015 LeMans champ), Dan Wells (2015 AFR champ), Maxx Ebenal (2015 AFR 2nd runner-up) and Pete Olson (2013 runner up) and famous race engineer Andrew Winsall, the team has been training and evaluating several new young drivers. Team Principal Bill O’Brien stated: “We have the top cars in the series (AFR 2015 first, second, third and fifth place cars all belong to BAR), and we are working hard on their condition and setup. We are training some top drivers. We intend to keep winning races in 2016. We have recently signed Tasmanian star Josh Burdon for 2016 and will continue adding winning drivers…” “We have seen some excellent results in our school, with the with the ZIC lap record for Formula Renault 2.0 on GITI tires being broken by over one full second during our winter tests (1:34.5). With a great car, excellent coaching and dedicated race engineers, our young prospects have done consistent 1:35s at Zhuhai in only the first time in FR 2.0. We will organised the last winter testing in early February before rebuilding the engine for the coming season, please contact us at sales@blackartsracing.com” Source: http://frdsports.com/en/news-673.html
