贝克豪瑟与玄锋共战2019年F3亚洲锦标赛

Zhuhai, China ( 16th March)-BlackArts Racing is pleased to announce the signing of 20 year old ADAC F4 pilot Tom Beckhäuser of the Czech Republic, for the 2019 Asian F3 Certified by FIA Championship.

Beckhäuser hails from ADAC F4 and UAE F4 and is one of the newest additions to championship-winning team BlackArts Racing.

He competed with BAR in the final round of the 2018 Asian F3 Championship, and despite very limited testing time to adapt to the car after coming from F4, he was able to finish in the top ten during the triple-header weekend at Sepang International Circuit.

The 2019 Asian F3 Championship will feature a calendar of world class circuits around Asia. The season will kick off in April at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, before traveling to Buriram International Circuit in Thailand. Next on the calendar is the famous Suzuka International F1 Circuit in Japan, before the series heads to China for the final two rounds at the Shanghai International F1 Circuit.

Beckhäuser said: “I am extremely happy to have the opportunity to race in the F3 Asian Championship with BlackArts Racing this year. Last year I only had a little taste of this championship and I think that last years’ experience also made me push for this option. I believe that this series will be a great place for me to learn and I am sure we have the potential for great results this year. I am also very excited to be racing in so many different countries all around Asia, some of which I have never visited before.”

BlackArts Racing’s Team Principal Bill O’Brien: “We were impressed at how quickly Tom was able to adapt to the much higher downforce and power of the F3 car after coming from racing F4 in Europe. We are thrilled to have him as part of our F3 effort and think that he can be an important part of our continued improvement in F3.”
